I got summoned for Federal Jury Duty next monday. I am a contractor. My contract house does not pay for Jury Duty. By law they only have to keep my job
available for me. So if I dont work I dont get paid. Federal Jury Duty lasts on average of two weeks. That will be two weeks or more that I will go unpaid!
I'll make nada, zip, zilch! 
I'm going to try to get out of it for financial hardship, but my contract house said the last 5 people from there that tried that got denied by the judge, because the spouses still had jobs which mine does also. I'm glad to see our government is so willing to send people to the poor house to do thier civic duty. I may just join those that lose thier houses to forclosure if the case goes for more than a couple of weeks.
