Berry, mass is mass. If you eat 5 lbs of anything you should still gain 5 lbs, at least temporarily.

Yeah but salad has a lot of water and undigestable dietary fiber and not many calories, unless it's 6000 calorie taco salad.
I think I'll have some low salt low fat ramen with chicken, mushrooms, green onion, and peas in it. I do have to eat breakfast first. Oatmeal and blueberries there. |

ghost - i get a lot of energy and fiber from my salads...if I had a hamburger at lunch i'd fall asleep.
I try and eat lean anyhow. I've lost 13 lbs since september...almost at my goal weight that i haven't been at since before having my son. |

If there isn't protein in your salad yeah...it wouldn't give you energy. I put a bunch of eggs, tuna and spinach in my salads so Im getting tons of
protein.
but i think your meat and my meat are probably different. |

i gained some weight end of summer and over teh fall...i had 10 lbs i could lose. now i'm just losing to get down to my pre baby weight but also adding on
lean muscle.

Ahhh got it Freshy. Salad to me is just lettuce, cucs, etc. I rarely throw meat in there, unless its a chicken caesar. I don't know why, maybe because we
grew up on no meat salads I dont eat them really now. Those are a great way to lose the weight too. Its like a sandwich without the bread, which is the best
for you in the end.
Just soup, milk, and oatmeal for 3 months. You are going to basically have #2's the consistency of soft ice cream, you realize this right? NASTY!! Em I always forget you are 3 hrs behind us! |
